We created the HD1 all-in-one gym to provide the absolute best machine available in its price category. The HD1 is upgraded to 7.5ft tall with twice as many racking points, 25% higher smith machine capacity and 20-30% heavier overall. (When compared to other $1000-$2000 options) This all-in-one powerhouse delivers a plate-loaded functional trainer, power rack, and smith machine allowing you to do hundreds of exercises in one compact footprint.
We made it 7.5ft tall for a reason. We found that most users do not get a full range of motion through a lat pulldown on 7ft racks. When sitting on a bench, doing a lat pulldown you can hit the end of your cable travel before you get a full range of motion at the top of the movement. The added 6 inches solves this issue, well unless you’re Shaq. We doubled up the racking points whereas most entry level options have hole spacing 4-6” apart. This can make it very difficult to set up a proper bench or squat. Imagine you are trying to bench press, and you need the starting point to be 1-2” higher but you are forced to raise your j-cups by 4-6”. Now you must overextend yourself to unrack and rerack the bar. This is why we added 30 racking points which you normally only find on higher priced options. Our machine comes in at nearly 600lbs which is 20-30% more than its competitors. The smith machine has a higher capacity of 450lbs with solid steel guide rods and commercial grade sealed linear bearings. 7.5ft also helps out tall users trying to do pullups or squat. If you are lucky enough to be under 5’10 you’ll be able to do the rare smith machine standing over head press or push press on our 7.5ft smith bar. A personal favorite over here!
